ABOUT THE WATERLILY LODGE

Set in a 55-acre private eco-reserve adjacent to The Cotswold Water Park in South Cerney, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, The Waterlily Lodge is a stunning one-bedroom property designed for privacy and tranquillity overlooking Carp Lake.
It is a light, airy open-plan space beautifully furnished in sophisticated simplicity. Floor-to-ceiling windows heighten the feeling of being one with nature, and from the private deck, guests can discover the joys of birdsong at dawn and sensational star gazing at night.
Within its walls are a well-equipped kitchen, a neat living/dining room, underfloor heating throughout, and upstairs a bedroom and en-suite shower room with transcendent views of the water, trees, and sky. There’s a wood burner with an inexhaustible supply of logs for cozy nights inside.
Two pristine lakes and an untamed reserve make up the grounds. These valuable wetlands offer wildlife spotting for bats, wildfowl, fish, dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies, and other invertebrates. While these verdant surroundings make it tempting to do nothing but wander the paths through woods, there is plenty to explore further afield in the Cotswolds, the largest Area of Outstanding Beauty in England and Wales.

Swimming or diving is not allowed!
There is no public transportation, a car is essential.

Two adjoining private fishing lakes in the Cotswold Water Park surrounded by trees and grassy walks are the setting for this Architect designed very contemporary Lodge. Serious carp fishing and also a trout lake. Relaxing comfort in a beautiful park with great gastro pubs, shopping, and exciting activities nearby.
Next door is the Recreational Lake where one can hire kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, sailing, etc., and waterskiing on another lake close by. There are wonderful walks in the area, cycling, riding, and some adventure parks. Also, there are many species of birds and other wildlife.
The Neighbourhood
The Waterlily Lodge is located in the Cotswold Water Park in South Cerney near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom.
The neighbourhood is full of lakes which were originally gravel pits. They have matured into a wonderful parkland and offer many activities.
South Cerney is a very old village with 3 pubs and a few small shops. It dates back to the 10th century. Cirencester offers excellent shopping, markets, and good cafes and restaurants, also it has probably the best small museum in England and a magnificent Church.
Within walking distance is the De Vere Hotel which has an attractive bar, restaurant, and Spa.
A car is essential as public transport is virtually non-existent. Walking and cycling are popular. Important Information
